Repeat? I think we have a number of games we will win, and some others we can win.
Just saying. _________________

I'm not counting anything out at this point.
Only games that I think will definately give us some trouble are Indianapolis, San Diego, and maybe Arizona if they get on top of us early. _________________

I remember the time the team went 10-6 despite VY being horrendous. As much as I support Vince, it's impossible to deny that he was at his very worst during the 2007 season and if Collins had been starting, we probably would have been just as good as we were last year.
So hopefully we don't see a repeat of that. _________________

1. Vince Young certainly did not LEAD us to 10-6. Hell, if we'd had a somewhat half-capable QB in at that point, we'd probably have won way more games.
2. It's going to be insanely hard to win 10 straight games. Possible, yes, but I just don't see it. If we win 2 or 3 more after this one, then we'll talk. _________________

I'd be very, very happy if Vince led us to an 8-8 finish, like he did that one time when he actually did "lead" us. Expectations are getting a bit high now, especially when it comes to VY. I'm thrilled he had success and looked like a different player on Sunday, but he has always been inconsistent, and if he comes out against the 49ers and plays terrible, it won't be shocking. _________________

We did it last year, with, IMO, less talent. _________________

Yeah, but I just think it's highly improbable we put together 10-game winning streaks in back-to-back years. It's possible, sure, and I'd be ecstatic if we did (the game against the Jags reminded me how good we can be...we dominated even with dirt-poor tackling by the D) but I just don't see it happening. We had a lot of stuff fall the right way last year. _________________

Okay, very true. I agree, but, hey, it's always possible. _________________

We also didn't start off at 0-6 when we went 10-6 that season. I would love to see us end this year at 10-6 and make the playoffs, but the chances of that happening is pretty low. _________________

Ever heard of a guy named Chris Johnson? VY never had a back like him. We won 10 games with a very overweight Lendale. I think having CJ and VY will open up our run game exponetially. 200 yard games will be common because of the added threat of VY. That's one less LB that will be able to make the tackle every play just because he has to stay at home on the backside of every run. I also think CJ puts the QB in way more managable downs, say 3rd and 3 instead of 3rd and 8. When u only need 3 yards the entire playbook opens up. _________________ Kerry Collins- $8.5 mill +

49ers? Seattle? Look at the past, teams don't generally fare well when they travel to the opposite (in our case, West) coast. Especially for a struggling defensive team like ours.
8-8 would be a moral victory I guess....but it sure would be a waste if they decide Vince still isn't the QB of the future. Not saying you have to have a top 10 pick to get a great QB, but I think our chances drop off a bit. _________________

No, but I remember that time when Travis Henry, Adam Jones, a solid defense and a scrambling QB went on a roll and almost made the playoffs. _________________ Head of the Body, Leader of the Team...>{ I'm A KING!!!
