Look I understand completely, the dude has hands of stones and it constantly costs us. But my goodness, the guy is fast and he is simply a tremendous route runner for a 2nd year WR. He's constantly getting open. Like, all the time. He just never brings the ball down with him.
I mean who knows, maybe he was just cursed with terrible hand-eye and won't ever cut it. But the guy has shown #1 WR size, speed, route running, work ethic and blocking. You gotta let him work the #4 spot for a year or two before you just give up because he has the ability to pass all of our WR's in time. |
I agree with part of your post...but he doesnt have terrible hands, hes made some great catches , more often then not actually hes just had a few big/easy drops. Its funny to me cause its like the headline in the newspaper when he has a drop, but when he does make great catches for first downs or move the chains, a great block etc its like the retraction buried on page 19 along with the other notices. |

How exactly does Sweed get open often? I've seen every Steeler game for the last two years and that's just not true.
Last season every time Sweed was in the game he got penalized.
Sweed is done. He's only injury insurance at this point. He has no confidence and shows it every time the ball is thrown to him. |

Jesus Jumping Christ...The kid has dropped 4 balls with no one around him in the end zone. He beats coverage more often then any receiver on the roster...He cant catch

why do we have McDonald?
cause injuries happen, thats why

Is he really? I mean, Sweed I know helped out on special teams. I dunno what McDonald is really bringing that Sweed couldn't be active for. |
