So...
FS - Eugene, Baker, Huff
SS - Branch, Mitchell
If Huff can't beat Eugene or Baker out, he's seriously a certified BUST. _________________

He'll stay on because of his coverage ability. Eugene is a last leg tackler. _________________

Mitchell is injuried so they added Baker for depth. |

Great news. He played better than any of our FS's last season, and should at worst bring solid depth as a backup. |
Yeah this was definitly one of the guys I wanted on the team this year after we cut him back in FEB?. Watched him make some nice plays last year when he was on the field. Can't forget that beautiful pick in the Tampa Bay game. |

I don't we cut him did we? Wasn't he a RFA and the Raiders didn't match the Eagles offer? I wonder what the Eagles were thinking when they brought him in? Strange he didn't stick w/ them. On another note, where is Chris Clemmons now? _________________

Clemons is still with Philli. He had 4 sacks last year. He had 8 with us _________________

I thought we cut him bu,t maybe I'm mistaken (released him)? I really liked this kid and definitly thought he would be on their team. Chris Clemmons is still with Philly, right? He looked really good with Philly last year into the post season and all. When philly picked up Baker, I thought....not another p/u like Clemmons. Glad Bake is back and hope he makes the team. |

i doubt he makes the squad
fs=eugene,huff
ss=branch,mitchell
hell have to beat out eugene imo...then again if he makes a couple play the next few weeks,he very well could be more deserving than a spot than mediocre hiram eugene |

Really? I think he has just as much potent. as most of our safeties at this point. Mitch is still out, I hear he may not be ready for the season opener and with that being said he is still a rookie. If that's the case, this would be a great addition. |

Eugene is starting over Huff, so wouldn't he have to beat out Huff? And he's got a leg up because I doubt they would need to pay him as much and he is a better STs player. _________________
