Here's just one idea I've had, let me know what you think. First day only. I may do another later.

Ok, this may be a stretch, but I say we trade Gardner and our 3rd to Cleveland for their 2nd.

K.C. wants to trade up to get Rolle so we trade the 9 and our 3rd rounder for the 15 and K.C.'s 2nd rounder.

15-Justin Tuck, DE, N.D. <-Jevon Kearse type of player
34-Chris Henry, WR, WVU or Fred Gibson, WR, UGA <-Both big guys that could turn out to be real stars
46-Fabian Washington, CB, Nebraska <-Great speed and could move in to the #2 spot after a season

i would not trade down we need to trade up and get mike man he will be a great endzone guy and we need to score touchdowns and last year we had all the small guys which we do now and no1 scored tds so i say trade gardner for a third then trade the 9th pick and 3rd round pick and next years third to cleveland

The Chiefs have to many needs to still fill, and people are saying that Rolle is better fit for Safety, why trade up when we can just stay put and steal Carlos Rogers at 15

Didn't Fabian Washington run faster than Deon in at the combine? He wont be around anywhere close to where we have a second draft pick at.

I agree with TrueRedskin to a certain extent.

We have a little bidding war going on for Gardner, lets trade him for the highest pick possible, which is probably Cleveland's 3rd (#67).
we then move that pick, along with our 9th and next year's fourth to the Bucs. It doesn't necessarily fulfill the draft pick value chart, but it's pretty close.

That leaves us with the 5th pick, all of our other original picks, and about 1.5M more cap room, which I think is a pretty nice arrangement.

We then draft:

1. Mike Williams

3. Darrent Williams (CB, Ok State) - He is so fast but small. If hes not there, I say someone like Ronald Bartell, Jr or Domonique Foxworth, but good CB depth would be nice in the 3rd.

4. Jovan Haye (DE, Vanderbilt) - He is a great athlete, but people are worried about his lack of production his senior year. If we could pick him up here it would be a steal, as hes quite a nice pass rush project.

6. Dave Kashetta (TE, Boston College) - He is not much of a speed guy, but has dependable hands and is a fairly dominant in-line blocker.

7. Lang Campbell (QB, William & Mary) - Smart and efficient, questionable arm strength. I can personally vouch for his winning spirit.

This draft fills some of our holes with depth and gives us possibly one of the more dominant WRs to come out in a while. I would be very excited about this draft.

Did we trade up when we got LaVar and Samuels? I think we traded up for one of those picks and the other came from the Saints, but I'm not sure.

I'm just trying to figure out if the Skins have more of a history trading up or trading down. I personally don't think they'll go up to get Williams just because they'll have to go up too high thus give up a lot. I can easily see San Fran taking Williams.

No trading up guys. Williams is good at 9th, or trade down for 1st and 2nd. I rather pick up a DE lower 1st and a CB in the 2nd. Also, if we can get a 3rd for Gardner, maybe somebody'll give us a 2nd for two 3rds. Another quality player can be picked up in the 2nd.

Well [inappropriate/removed]. Here I had planned these all trades out and decided why each team would do them, and then a Dallas fan educates me that they wouldn't happen. Gosh I feel so dumb. Would you please enlighten me as to why those trades wouldn't happen?

......so did i enlighten and the answer is yes becuse i know what i am talking about and the guy how started this post did not ur welcome for the help

Gardner isn't that bad either, nor does he have an attitude problem.

It doesn't appear that you know what you're talking about if you think that the #9 pick would only get the #28 and #61.

I won't argue where Tuck will go. It's a dumb argument. He's a different type of DE than the other top guys in my opinion. I think the Skins have a need for the type of player that Tuck is, therefore they take him when it's their pick.

Doorknob- I was referring to the trades I proposed, not the original trades. I assumed you were talking about my mock, as you posted right after I did. Yes his trades wont happen. At the same time, that Skins-Chargers trade won't happen either. I think my trades are very realistic, if we decide to trade up.

e16 why do you think that Williams will be there at #5? I think San Fran will take Edwards or Williams. That leaves the Bears at #4 to take the other. I think we'll have to go to #3 to get him, and I don't think he's worth it.
