Not really we are bringing in Sammy Knight to visit tommorrow and he will probably be the biggest name we sign. _________________

Would like to see him in Green and Gold also, he's young, and he's learnt his trade from Ray Lewis in an awesome defense. What is there not to like?
But have read that Bates took a good long look at Crowder on his Pro-day, and another Packer personnel guy had a 1 on 1 workout with Odell Thurman.
All that equals the Packers taking a MLB on the first day of the draft... |

Sammy Knight signed with the Chiefs on Thursday night. Ty Law will be in KC on Monday to discuss a contract and according to a few sources (not sure how valid they are) Hartwell may sign with the Red & Gold by this afternoon.
Its getting to be slim pickin's out there. With losing your best defensive player in Sharper, I think you guys are in deep trouble.

I think losing Sharper was big to but not a major loss but he will be replaced there are still a few good safetys out there. I just hope TT knows what he is doing. _________________

Also, look at all of the great safties drafted last year that came in late rounds. Gibril Wilson of the Giants is a great example. We might be able to grab Crowder in the second. Right now he is not first round material. _________________
