Boston Deal in Negotiations

03.09.04 -- Sources close to 49ersNews.com have informed us that the 49ers and former Miami Dolphin WR David Boston are close to finalizing a deal that will put Boston in Red & Gold. The deal is currently being negotiated which appears to be a one to two year deal based on incentives. Mainly due to Boston's recent injuries. Stay tuned for more details...

wow that would be a great pickup. we hav a sure no 1 guy. boston, woods, lloyd. that would be a nice set up. if that would happen, then i would be all for aaron rodgers comin in, or ronnie brown. but if this deal doesnt go down, then we definately need to pick up mike williams.

I hope this works out. This would be a great signing. Although, he seems to have many off the field issues and I hope Sullivan will whip him into shape. Also, how is his injury coming along.

If we sign Boston that is huge and that takes another need off our backs and give the niners more flexibility to sign Nugent or somebody else in round 3.

Great, a guy who bombed out of Miami and was suspended for testing positive for 'roids...are we sure we're talking about the SF side of the Bay? 'Cause it sounds like he should be in silver and black rather than red and gold.
