As a Packer's fan, I was just wondering about how much you guys enjoyed the trade for him. Were you glad you got him? I think he had 6 picks this year. Imagine if he had started every game. _________________

| He is awesome, best corner the Saints have ever had.He plays with high energy and is for the most part, a shut down corner for us.Yeah, MM had 6 picks last year and I expect more next season. |

Looks like it was a great trade for the Saints. A second rounder for a Pro Bowl caliber corner.
Guess I should drop the 'Aints nickname...

That is good. His six interceptions ties for a carreer high that he set as a rookie. I hope he continues to play well for you. _________________

| McKenzie was the best pickup the saints have had in years and to get him for just a second rounder was a steal, to all the Green Bay people out there, thanks. |

Its amazing how a great CB can shut down good offenses. He has the ability to cover most #1 WR one on one and there is not a #2 WR out there that Mike can't smother.
Take away the pass or at least limit it and the offense becomes 1 dimensional. |

pack fan...
first off...thanks for being a good sport about everything. if I was a packer fan...I know that I would have a tough time with the topic. Mike McKenzie has played with the Saints 1/2 of a year...and is probably already the best CB that we have ever had. lol. he turned our defense around...we actually had a very respectable defense the last four games of the season because of the way that Mike carried himself on the field. at mid-season...I couldn't tell you how we would address the draft, we had wholes at practically every defensive position. well...mckenzie came along...fahkir brown did a GREAT job opposite of him...our young LBs began maturing and playing solid football. QBs were running for their lifes from Grant, Howard, and Smith. It was great...the best that a Saints defense has played since 2000. |
