That's even worse. No way he even beats out there current third stringer. Let alone Troy and Joe. _________________

Let's not forget that the offensive coordinator has a lot of say in which players make the final roster and which ones don't. At this point, I'd say that the odds are better than average that Beck makes the final roster. Not only that, but I think he wins the back up job too. _________________ Never argue with an idiot. I think that this is hilarious that Beck signed with the Ravens. That's where quite a few of us thought he would always end up due to Cam. I wish him well. _________________

I'm happy for Beck... Although I don't think its a good fit for him, if he does get cut again before the season, I would want to see him sign with the new UFL and lead his team. _________________

I thought Beck could succeed in Miami. No one can argue that this guy was ever given a fair shot. He was thrown to the wolves in 2007 and never got another shot. He's got a good arm and he's smart. The fumbles don't concern me as I believe it's correctable and was more of a nervous thing. Not to mention that o-line was awful, he had no RB and no one to throw the ball to.
I hope Beck goes to the Broncos or Vikings and can shows everyone he can play. |
Most rookie qb's are thrown into the fire..or to the wovles as you say, thats really no excuse. And while smart...to say he had a good arm is to not know him at all. It was his accuracy that made him pop out, bottom line he is a project of the BYU current system...like Ty before him and like Max Hall after him. _________________

i wish him all the luck in the world, but this is a little extreme! id never wish for a phins loss. Yes, he was treadted badly here and screwed from day one really... |
QFT, Best of Luck to John, hope he catchs on somewhere and has a great career. _________________
