This year is that the Lions are negotiating with multiple prospects.

And the negotiating could get quite interesting with the two favorites to be the top pick -- Stafford and Smith -- being represented by Tom Condon and Ben Dogra, who both work for CAA. Curry is represented by Andy Ross of Octagon.

The Lions want to get a deal done prior to making the selection on draft day, they are rumored to go after Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford with the pick if they can get a deal done.

The other two prospects, Curry and Smith, are unlikely to be the selection but the Lions want to keep their options open just in case they can't reach a deal with Stafford.

Stafford first, Smith second, Curry third, I would assume. Ifthey dont get a deal done with Stafford, they move onto Smith, if they dont get it done with Smith, they move on to Curry, if they somehow cant get a deal with him, I would bet they draft Stafford 1st overall then negotiate afterwards.

Trestman is a great coach but Cutler is already a pouty overconfident poo flinger. What more can he do with him?
Get him to fling poo more accurately and make better decisions when flinging it?

Good move by the Lions. They need to lock up their 1st overall pick (Most likely Stafford), so he doesn't hold out like JaMarcus Russel did.

The obvious 3. I bet Stafford ends up in Detroit.
