now that eve got the probowler Samari Rolle, and still have a chance to bring in Herndon, i think that unless a top prospect falls to us a 22, its all but certian Newsome trades down. It would be the best way to fill the small holes and [inappropriate/removed] depth. Now if only we can sign a starting guard other to take Andersons place (Keydrick Vincent or Rick DeMulling preferably)

Wow! i guess the complaints about Ozzie being to slow in FA has got to stop now. We signed Mason and Rolle! amazing off season. C-Mac, Rolle an Ed Reed that's an impressiv secondary. I guess Herndon would be a good nickel unless they retract the offer. Now lets sign DeMulling!

think about what our secondary could be if we draft someone like Ernest Shazor! wow thats scary.

McAllister/Rolle/Reed/Shazor/Sanders/Herndon(if we can still sign him, but i doubt it) Thats one hell of a secondary.

I really didn't think we were going after Samari Rolle, but the thing that surprises me the most is the price of the contract $30.5 million over 6 years and a signing bonus of $11 million. I thought Rolle would get at least $4 million more from some team out there in bonus money, great job by the Ravens. Some offensive players might not want to come to Baltimore but it sounds like we're at the top of most defenders wish lists.

Excellent immediate upgrade over Gary Baxter, and it only cost us 1/2 a million more on both the bonus and the contract.
