In Kiper's new mock, he has the Redskins getting Mike Williams still!
The first 8 picks are a. smith, brown, rodgers, benson, cadillac, pac-man, edwards, and DJ. The skins are then taking Big Mike. This is stellar news. |

| I heard Gibbs doesnt like to draft rookie offensive guys early. Is that true? And would that affect us takin a reciever if available? |

That's what he said. I would asume that the Skins will draft a d-end, or trade down. Maybe the Packers would take the chance to get Alex Smith... _________________

It's not going to matter if the Vikings take him first. Personally, I think Braylon Edwards is better. _________________

i think the vikings will draft defensivly...trading moss to nab a lesser receiver doesnt really help the team at all, while upgrading there defense would...theres also a lot of speculation taht minnesota is going to sign plaxico burress, which would also mean defense in round 1 _________________

| the redskins know they are in salary cap [inappropriate/removed] in the next few years...with a lot of these additions, they want to win now. I dont think they will get mike williams because hes been out for 1 year. They dont want to wait for him to regain his game because it might be too late. They need an instant impact. |

In his draft, Kiper has the Vikings taking Braylon, so this accounts for them taking a WR. Personally, I don't think they will. They are interested in trading for Gardner or Boldin apparently, and in signing Burress or Taylor. Clearly they are not a team who is looking to draft a WR. They are trying to fill the hole through FA or trade with a vet and then draft defense.
Brak86- Who would be more of an instant impact than Williams? |

Not only does Mel Kiper have the skins drafting Mike Williams but so does souts inc. and a couple of other sites that i've seen.
I'd love to have Mike Williams if he's available, if not, we need to just take the best player available we could use dept at about 3 or 4 positions. _________________ Die hard skins fan...no matter how many hairs go gray! |
