i've never been a big fan of the big FA names. you can't buy a title (see redskins vs. patriots). only time i would welcome one is if it is a young guy with a proven track record, some upside, filling a position of great need (see michael turner last year) _________________

btw no 10 on the best FA signings is stephen davis- so it can go both ways _________________

true, but dont i dont think going out and getting the biggest name is the best idea either
davis wasnt exactly high on most teams lists _________________
