A lot of people are suggesting the Bears cut Tucker and R-Dub to save 3+ million dollars...
Doing this only saves the Bears 1.5 million or 2.5 million after June 1st.
A detailed breakdown of the Bears cap is on askthecommish.com
Rememer that if a player is cut the organization eats the signing bonus... |

I wouldn't cut B-Rob the boozer so long as he continues to stay "on the wagon" as he seemed to last season. Bears just don't have enough veterans on the d-line right now without him.
The way to motivate B-Rob would be to restructure his contract and offer him a case or two of his favorite malt liquor for ever sack! Hell, I'd even spring for the more expensive King Cobra if it motivated him!!!
I would, however, cut both Tucker and possibly Columbo because all their on going injuries do is bring a lot of instability and disappointment to the o-line. Best to cut our losses and move on with guys who can actually suit up and play all 16 games. |

Every Mayberry needs an Otis (the town drunk); B-Rob may be a lush, but he's OUR lush! (LOL!) Besides, if B-Rob were to leave, who's going to teach the youngsters how to REALLY party??? |
