Do anyone know if the new stadium that will be created in NJ will still be called NY GIants stadium.
I am very against the Jets putting Hundreds of Millions down on a new stadium to still have it be called Giants Stadium????
Any ideas? _________________ The Best that ever did it |

The Jets should try and get back in Shea again. Although we don't want the Mets bad luck do we?
We really need to get out of Jersey. I love that there in my home state, but seriously they are called New York. The only reason they kept the title of "New York" is because former owner Leon Hess believed we represented the tri-state area. _________________

how about NY buys the land and just connects and it becomes NY.
That is one of the primary seasons i became a Jet fan, because they were playing in NY as opposed to the Giants playing in NJ.
then when I heard they asre rebuilding the stadium for the Giants and a new lease for 99 years i was like Jets are my team b/c giants would be a NJ team for the rest of my lifetime.
then i heard the jets are moving in with the giants i want to cry.
Buffalo Bills, here I come.
maybe we should boycott the Jet games, or try to get an expansion team in NY |

Well its really not fair that there is no team actually in New York. You can't have the New York title if you don't play there just because you represent the tri-state area. _________________

We need to push for the West Side Stadium again or just place it somewhere else on the island. The city has got to realize how much money and how many jobs it will create. And just imagine, the Olympics and the Super Bowl in New York. Reliant Stadium in Houston wasn't even considered for the Olympics. Also, there would be a new college bowl created called the Big Apple Bowl that would definitely make $$$ for the city. I think that's worth all the traffic and headaches. Plus I have season tickets so I might move up a few rows . _________________

Madison Square Garden- they dont want to lose business (b/c of conventions). they put money into the politicians pockets, they did all these commercials.
everyone knows i would help, jobs would be booming, ect. dont forget the money they get from the olympics, jobs hotel in the area, etc... but madison square garden doesnt want to make 2 billion a year they want 2.5 a year.
that is the primary reason i gave up watching the games. i hate hopping on the turnpike, and putting up with all the "NJ" people
and i kept getting speeding tickets in the turnpike.
i would like to hop on the F train, get to the stadium in 20 min and i am there. then go 2 blocks down to eat; all walking distances.
not NJ.
god dammit- its NJ. imagine the stadium would be in california, its the same thing as NJ. why is it everytime you say NY, people think about NJ as well. damn NJ people, they are NJ we are NY'ers.
we deserve our own team, no the NJ giants or NJ jets
only buffalo is in NY
thats sad. if they dont build th stadium now on the west side, that property will be gone- no other place to build it forever, in our lifetime. |
