First I wasn't attacking your team...in fact i think they are a playoff team. The amount many are asking for on this board would be for a proven QB, one that has perhaps led his team to the playoffs. Matt Schaub could potentially be a pro-bowl QB, but he hasn't proven it yet. HE has shown signs of being a good QB, but they he has not shown what he is can do over the coarse of a season. This is an extreamly deep draft..one of the best, which is another reason why giving up two day one draft picks for a back up would be a poor management decision. I could see it happening if and only if Matt Schaub can be successful for maybe 8 or more games (in one season), but if that were to happen I doubt Atlanta would trade him, because he might end up being his starter.
Love, peace and chicken grease

that's fine. I was just saying the problem of the team WASN'T QB play. if anything it was the defense. _________________

Sigh. Yeah. And our big time stars like kerney and hartwell had mediocre seasons. But the good news is that hall looked fantastic and coleman couldn't be stopped from his rightful spot in the probowl. + our rookie banineaux did great. So if our allstars can get their acts together and we draft good safties we'll be set. (I think the reason kerney didnt do so great was because brady smith was out.
Yeah, we had a great offense this season, 1st ranked rushing, something like 7th scoring and i dunoo 20th passing. If you got the real stats scar then Id be interested to see what they were. _________________

When you trade for QB's you trade for potential. We already got burned by only taking a first for Brett Favre. While nobody expects Schaub to be Brett Favre, we do expect him to be a Hasslebeck type of QB and that is worth a 1st & 3rd in today's market at the very least. Everyone knew Feeley sucked except for your FO, so them passing on Schaub should be a good indicator that his value is actually higher than even we are saying....lol _________________
