| Just read on ESPN that Dexter Coakley signed a 5 year deal with the Rams. |

Surely the Rams would ahve given up a late round pick for Coakley. Seems a bit strange to just let a Pro Bowler go.
The whole Parcells likes big LB's thing is crazy to me. Who cares if the guy is only 5'10, heart can't be measured in inches. |

is he still good
i know he will be the best the rams have at linebacker and myabe dex wanted it that way. this way he can improve the young guns and still make himself look good. im sure st louis people will love him here. i know i will enjoy watching him.
is he good cause i havent heard to much about him but i saw his stats _________________ RAMS = SUPERBOWL |

| At age 33 and having his worst season last year, it looks like his best years are behind him. The Cowboys would have had him as a backup last year had their second year LB performed a little better in camp. |

| Dont you think that says something about him? I think Dex could be solid for your team, but not a pro bowl type player. If he was, the Cowboys would have kept him on the team. |

I think he'll do extremely well with a big defensive line that clog up the line. He's a little small and probably was asked to take on too much in our scheme. Also, his playing time reduced b/c Parcells is a little size-ist.
I'm not sure what ya'lls scheme is, but I think he'll do well in the right situation. I, for one, will miss him. (unless we get someone better) |

He wasnt just cut b/c Tuna likes his LB's big, he also carried a hefty cap number and didnt want to restructure it, knowing he would play in a backup role.
Its good for both sides that he got cut. I wish him well in St. Louis. |
