Shouldn't the Skins use the transition tag on either Smoot or Pierce? I don't have a clue what either will get in FA, but it would at least give us a shot at matching it.

I think it's too late.

Also if the club ever used a tag on a player, then signed them to a long term deal without removing the tag then they can't use the tag again for the length of time the player signed the contract for.

Bucs went thru it with...I can't recall his name. Don't know if this happened to the Skins.
