Okay this has bothered me for a while now.....
Okay, i noticed on the back of Randal Williams jersey, it said RA. Williams obviously to distinguish between he and Roy Williams. Okay, just say (and i know this wont happen but...) Dallas get Roy Williams WR from DET., How will they distinguish between the two Roys on the back of their jerseys? |

one will be wearing number 11 and one will be wearing number 31? one will be on defense and one offense? it's not really needed if you know your team

They would use their middle initials, assuming they were different and had one.
