He got cut and the Pats made him a deal when he got cut from the Browns. Do you think the Pats will make a deal at him when they lose Patten?

As a Browns fan, Johnson was the only decent player we had for a couple years. Amazing hands and route running. Played QB at Syracue until Donovan McNabb came to school, then bacame his #1 reciever.

Character wise he's probably perfect for you guys. I think the reason he was cut midseason wasn't what Butch explained it to be. Grapevine said that William Green had a "relationship" with his wife. And since Green was a Butch guy and KJ was a Palmer guy, KJ got cut. But one of them had to go.

I hope he becomes a Patriot, and wins a ring. He, and every other decent player from the Browns' expansion season(all 2 of them), deserve a ring. They would appreciate the pinnacle, since they've experienced the worst situation of the NFL's history. Speaking of, Tim Couch might make a good backup, if his arm has healed. Wink

The only problem with signing Johnson is that anyones hopes (like mine) of Drafting someone like Mark Clayton would be thrown out the door.
