Vonnie Holliday of the chiefs was released today. I think he's really an ideal fit for us at DE/DT. In a 3-4, he's 6'5 290+ and is a pretty good player. In a 4-3 he's probably better suited at tackle (which is where he played in Green Bay, if I recall) but he played the run very well at end for the Chiefs.

I agree with Chief. You want a reclamation project, go after Courtney Brown. At least he's young and has a lot of talent. The problem with him has been injuries.

Holliday was overrated from the day he was drafted. Every year, he'll have one maybe two excellent games and then 14 subpar games. He's just not worth it.
