The Skins won't make the playoffs next year. They have a number of huge holes to fill with little cap room and few picks available.
They're likely to lose both of their starting WRs and Taylor Jacobs hasn't shown much yet as an NFL WR.
They need to strengthen their OL.
Ramsey is still a question mark at QB and they need a backup.
They need to address the DL, in particular getting a legitimate pass rushing end.
They're likely to lose Smoot, and it's hard to see Springs duplicate his 2004 performance.
It would take a major miracle for the Skins to make the playoffs IMO. They really need to stop signing big named players, sign second tier FAs, and accumulate draft picks so that they could contend for a long time and as early as 2006. _________________
