Samari Rolle!

with Samari Rolle possibly being released by the Titans, does anybody know what he is/would be asking for in a contract? Does he move up ahead of the rest of the FA CBs? Is it realistic that the Rams go after him?

i think it absolutley would be realistic and a good move if the rams pursue him. He only 28 and a proven CB. However i dont know what kind of money he would want, but if we can resign pace to free up cap, make faulk take a pay cut which he has expressed he is willing to do, and figure out sumthing to do with turley i think we can have enoguh cap to go after this guy

So lets say that Samari will roughly make the same as he was paid in '01 6.25 million/year...Will he fit into the Rams budget?

i highly doubt that the rams would pay him 6 plus million a year now that i heard that info. Hes a good player but only with 1 INT last year hes not a game breaker anymore

I do believe they have realistic chance. I remember Rolle almost signed with Rams a couple of years ago.

I'm not too high on Rolle. it seems he's in a slump in his career. We could probably get a younger Fred Smoot for about the same price, and he's played at a higher level than Rolle this year.

Unless we trade Pace (which I hope doesn't happen), we will only have enough to sign one quality FA anyway, and I think that should go to get Hartwell or Bell, because this draft is good for corners, and pretty bad for MLBs.

FA hartwell or kendrell

1st round OLB ( not many good linebakcers says armey)
2nd corner still fast playmaking corners left
3rd-5th youth to our line eunless brodney pool is available
6, 7 best available

I pretty much agree with that...except what about...
Hartwell or Bell in FA

Round
1. CB Rodgers, Miller(Special teams also), or Marlin Jackson
2. LB Mitchell, Morrison, maybe use a 3rd and our 2nd to get Blackstock
3a. O Line Dont know who maybe C Wikerson or OT
3b. Dont know who but we'll prob take a DT
4. O Line Dont know who
