Fight of the Night. Potential Fight of the Year candidate. Hard to beat Hansen-Alvarez, though.
The crowd is freaking clapping at this. I love it! This fight would have stolen the show in the UFC.

I swear, Tokoro just might be the most consistently entertaining fighter in the world.
The only time his fights aren't jaw droppingly entertaining is if he gets finished early.

Uyenoyama will win this fight if he stays on top for the remainder of the second round. But man what a close decision.
I'd personally give it to Tokoro based on damage. The final (about) ten minutes were his basically.

Tokoro had the damage and the sub attempts overwhelmingly. Uyenoyama just had some takedowns and action on top.

I'm glad Tokoro won. He did the far more damage and controlled a longer duration of the fight. Great fight. Potential FOTY.

Tokoro would be a star if he was a bit bigger, and a bit smarter. He's basically a not so big 145er who almost every time fights guys who are pure 155ers, because the division is a bigger draw on all the mainstream shows. And if he was smarter, he wouldn't be as entertaining. It's all a good trade off IMO.
