I watched a tape of the playoff game and one thing I noticed no pressure on Pennington. He could pick and choose and in the end thats what cost us. A little pressure and he would of never got that td pass to Moss. Im thinking one of the Codys will do nicely. Prefer Shaun over Dan what you all think

Yeah, Erasmus James would do a good job too, but still, the bolts need some pressence on the line, even if they dont get the sack, let the qb see the big man running towards him lol

i know, but we would have to trade up. The only reason we should trade up is to get mike williams IMO.

They need a speed rusher i believe bc vs the Jets, they lacked speed from the edge. DJ would be a great fit in SD>

ya i love dj and i also prefer shaun over dan..... i personally think that dan is overrated just cause he's supposely the 'leader' of the ou d...... shaun cody doesn't have the same kinda reputation as dan but if u watched that orange bowl game u can see the difference b/t them 2..... shaun and the sc d-line got pressure on white.... while dan and his entire front 7 did notthing to rattle leinart.... plus shaun at his size fits the 3-4 DE position better.... just look at igor.... in college he was an DT that ate up blockers not an explosive DE..... what i like bout shaun is that he is big enough to eat up blockers like jamal and igor but has more explosion off the line than both of them..... give him 2 yrs and i believe he will be dominate in the 3-4 scheme

if we draft shaun cody, how are we going to get a better pass rush? We'll need a great pass rushin olb to go alongside steve foley. Do u want to get Justin Tuck with the 28th pick?

Johnson has never shown himself to be a sack master. Yes he's fast and yes he's caused a lot of fumbles playing teams like Baylor and Texas A+M but he hasn't even shown at the college level that he knows how to get to the QB. How do you figure him doing it in the Pros?
I like Spears, Erasmus James or Justin Tuck in the first round. Swancutt would be a great late round pick up. |
