Very good decision on his part...he might have been headed downhill if he were to return because that offense won't be nearly as good as last years with Dixon and Stewart on full motors.

He's a lock for a Top 20 pick, and he will probably move up as we head into April.

yeah this was a good choice by JStew. Hell be without a doubt a top 20 pick in the draft. Hes a little tank like MJD. refuses to be tackled, has great vision and has the speed to take it to the house.

The only question is..... can he carry the load?

I think he can. But if he goes to a team with a pretty good RB already hell be even better like MJD and Fred Taylor.

Hell most likely be drafted by a team with a power blocking system opposed to a zone blocking system.

He'll be either the first or second back taken, and will probably go in the top 15 picks. He's got the greatest combination of strength and speed of any back to come out in a long time (including AP). He'll fit into just about any offense and can catch the ball out of the backfield as well.

He'll definitely be a top 15 pick. Dmac is the only back that will be taken ahead of him. Stewart reminds me of Marshawn Lynch and could inherit a starting job next year.

I dont know about top 15. Im thinking the earliest he will go is probably the Cardinals or the Texans. After that, he could go to any team in need of a RB. It really depends on his combine numbers.

I wouldnt mind him complimenting Willie Parker, but the Steelers have bigger needs.

im praying the Lions do enough in FA to be able to draft Stewart. We need a franchise back and I think he will be better than mcfadden.

he who must not be named ahead of stewart (giggle). better on the field, off the field, better power, faster, better pass receiver, better short area quickness, better body better vertical, better everything except amount of newspaper clippings and arrests. there is absolutely no chance he who must not be named or anyone goes ahead of him. hes far and away not even close the best available. when they build an nfl back, this is what he looks like. bigger and just as fast if not faster than the 12th pick from a year ago (marshawn lynch). lock top 10, certainly worthy of the #1 overall pick. he who must not be named i guess no one figures there will be a combine. as long he breaks 4.5 (lock city) hell be the #1 back taken. and dont believe this not that fast bs idiots like mcshay who are trying to save face on he who must not be named are spewing. hes been clocked at 4.38. and his functional speed is in that area. see him blow by trae williams 4.4 and trae lost ground, while stewart had the ball.

Good move on his part. No Dixon, untested starting QB(roper or any frosh dual threat QB) means that there will be 8 men in the box just to stop Stewart. He's a top 3 RB in the class. I see him going in late 1st round to early 2nd round.
