I prefer Arrington over Manningham, but that could be due to the fact I always scope the possession receiver that I believe would benefit the Redskins.

Best of luck to Adrian.

this goes to show another example of what one game can do for a guy...

Also Rich Rodriguez doesnt seem to be on the good side of current players. Look for him to be on the hot seat till his recruits come in.

just thought about this and I think this would have been the best thing to Arrington to do. There is a rule in football that allows college players to transfer after they have already graduated from school without sitting out. Ben Mauk did this from Wake Forest to Cincinnati.

I think Arrington who is now a 4th round projection and must have an amazing workout to jump to the second should do this. Go to a top team. Im sure he'd be welcome. USC or Georgia- win a nation title- stock up!!!

He's not leaving because he wanted out at Michigan. He's leaving because his stock as gone way up and his dream has been to play in the NFL.

i agree with primetime, as of now arrington's a 3rd-4th rounder at best. he must not have liked what he heard from rodriguez because he really could have improved his stock with another year. with all the quality tall WR's in this draft (Bowman, Sweed, probably M. Kelly, Hardy, Hall, A. Kelly) he is just a guy. really could have gone much higher in next years class, he better time well

Naw, I've watched Arrington all year, he plays like that every game. His hands are disgusting, have been all year long. Earlier this year I think I started a topic about him possibly being better than Manningham (or somebody else posted it and I just commented).

Wow!

Kelley, Mannigham and now Arrington entering the draft. To bad none of them including Bowman should be taken with a top 15-20 pick IMO.

However by them declaring it officially makes the WR class in this years draft deep. A deep WR class is a good thing.

My scouting report on Adrian Arrington. I'm a Michigan fan and have seen him play quite a bit.

Strength:

A good all-around WR who can block, catch. He's a big body WR(6'3" 200 lbs) who uses his body well to shield smaller DB from the ball. He's fearless in middle of the field and is willing to take hit from safety just to get the ball. His hands is very good and catches almost everything in sight. Hard worker and is a team player.

Weakness:

His stock will depend on his forty time because he's considered to be a possession WR, though it's not a big deal but there are so many talented possession WRs in this year draft that the 40s may make a difference. He has a very slight build for a WR who is 6'3" and need to bulk up to gain strength. Production is inconsistent at times. Has characters concern(girlfriend incident and something else that caused him to get kicked off the team), though it won't be a big deal, IMO but it's something to think about.

Overall:

Is a nice talent at WR. He's tall, has good hands, solid blocker and fearless in the middle. Characters could be a concern as well as his 40s time. Production isn't there.

Projected Round: 3rd/4th round but could work his way into 2nd round with a good 40s.
