Looks like the tight end class just got even deeper. I think Jermichael Finley needs to work on his blocking, but he has the potential to be the best tight end in the draft when all is said and done.

I am really excited about this one mostly because I am a huge fan of J-Mike. He runs great routes and has great hands ,but like you said his blocking is bad. I think if he goes to a team who has a number 1 tight end and just brings in J-Mike for passing downs he could do damage. _________________

It's a decent decision in my opinion. I really like the kid. Guess he just couldn't resist when he saw all the great tight ends in the draft. He wanted to be a part of the legacy when years from now we look back and see how talented it really was. _________________

ok guys he put it over the top. This is the best TE class ever. But I do think he should have stayed because history has shown that Redshirt sophomores fall a lot farther than people think because of inexperience. _________________

OMG. This is the guy I wanted for the Seahawks when I saw him play this year, then I was bummed to see he was a sophomore, but I just found out he was a redshirt soph anb is declaring - beautiful!!
So what do you think? After the combine will he be available late 2nd??
We should at least be able to get one of Finley/Davis/Rucker/Carlson/Bennett/Tamme in the 2nd. |

Though he has been in school three years he would have been better off staying the fourth till his junior year. Mack usually gets his players to stay so im wondering what kind of grade Finley got. _________________

I don't like this decision. With all the great tight ends that are going to be in the draft this year, and a weaker class next year, it would've made sense for him to stay. _________________

I thought this kid can catch.
Where do you guys project him to go?
If the Phins dont grab a TE early i think he would be nice to look at late. _________________

Great athlete with production, im guessing somewhere in the 2nd, kind of like Greg Olsen, great receiver, not a great blocker. _________________
