| Quote: | | Who knows if choosing David Garrard was the right move. But waiting until now to make the decision was a disaster. Leftwich was worth quite a bit on the trade market in April and the Jaguars dawdled. The Falcons have denied interest, but could be a possibility now that Leftwich won't require compensation. Oakland is another possibility. |

I could see Baltimore making a play for him. Back in the 03 draft, it was said that the Ravens were wrestling between selecting Leftwich or Suggs. Since Leftwich was taken off the board quickly, during Minnesota's lapse, they snatched up Suggs instantly. Now they could come to get him anyway. McNair doesn't have much left, Boller is a FA to be, and he failed as the starter already. Leftwich has the cannon arm Billick loves and could learn the ropes for at least a year, maybe two before being pressed into duty. It could solve their QB problems for another 8 years while they focus on keeping their defense dominating and improving the offense around the QB for that time. It seems like a very good fit to me. _________________

Detroit needs to target him. Kitna has had back spams this pre season and JT and Orlovsky dont overwhelm me. _________________

Wow this is pretty shocking that they got nothing in return for him. I am sure back on draft day they could have gotten something in return. oh well. i guess it is best to cut with your losses when you know its over. a lot of team are still in need of a qb. he will be picked up by someone. nto the vikings though, that will not happen. _________________
