Still a rumor at this point but...
At first I wasn't going to put this into the "NFL News" section, but I decided that if this true, it is definitely news.
I was just listening to a local sports radio station, and they were discussing the surprise players released so far, and they said that Randy Moss was possibly being shopped by the Patriots.
They said it isn't known whether it is due to a locker room situation, or due to his health.
If this is untrue I apologize, but if it does become a reality I wanted everyone to know.
It was being discussed on Minnesota's KFAN Radio just a few minutes ago by Dave Synikin (sp?) a local Minnesota guy who happens to be a big Packer supporter. _________________

Well considering they only had to give a fourth for him (which still angers me greatly), his value couldn't be much more than a 6th at this point. I still think he could put up amazing #s if healthy in NE. |

The radio station just repeated the fact that the possibility of Moss' release is being discussed in the Rumor Mill on ProFootballTalk.com..
As a Viking fan, I say we bring Randy back home where he belongs. I don't care if he doesn't play a down. He should retire a Viking. _________________

If this is true the redskins should go after him he still has the hopes and can be the endzone WR for us if he cant be the #2 wr any more. It wil be cool to have moss on one side and moss on the other. Go Snyder go get this big name. |

MOSS ON THE BUBBLE?
There's talk among some league insiders that the New England Patriots are considering whether to release receiver Randy Moss.
Seriously.
We scoffed when we heard it, but then a source explained that the question the Pats are believed to be pondering is whether Moss will become a problem if he is not a focal point of the offense -- or if he isn't in the opening-day starting lineup.
And we agree that this sounds crazy. Exactly as crazy as, say, any rumors that would have been making the rounds on Friday morning that the Jaguars were planning to part ways with Byron Leftwich.

I doubt it, but stranger things have happened. Those PFT guys are massive tools, though. For a group that takes great pains to act like media outsiders, they kiss Goodel/NFL [inappropriate/removed] so much that Peter King has to reserve a spot in advance. They make no bones about disliking players like Moss and TO who dared to add some entertainment to the NFL that wasn't commercials for watered-down beer or horrible musicians performing during halftime. _________________ Every player that is going to be drafted ever is a bust. Haha, nope. Weird as that cat may be, I have to respect his guitar skills. I was thinking more along the lines of American Idol rejects, Creed, and/or Justin Timberlake. At least follow the NBA's lead and get Mariah Carey wearing a skin-tight dress made from a jersey.
edit: Cool name, by the way. _________________ Every player that is going to be drafted ever is a bust. You heard it here first, folks. |

Yeah, Prince once locked himself in a recording studio and didnt come out until he finished a whole record which he played every instrument. He is superior to most all musicians.
Back on topic. Randy dude, come to TN! _________________

The Pats aren't dumb enough to release Moss. Won't happen. _________________

I'll believe it when I hear it from a reputable source.
Frankly, this has been a possibility from the day the Pats brought him in. that's why his contract was structured the way it was. _________________

Could he possibly go back to Oakland now that Daunte is there? _________________
