The Skins could probably make a play for Byron Leftwich. He would definitely give them some stabilty as a backup and he could push Campbell to play better or be benched.
Either way, I think Joe Gibbs has a "back-up" plan if Campbell doesn't work out. _________________

Although the deal didn't go down, as of yet... I think Leftwich would be a great addition to the Redskins.
The only problem is... I think Leftwich could be starting somewhere, opposed to being a back-up. _________________ Don't be afraid to turn the lights on...

Bringing Leftwich in would be useless. It takes QB's a season to get used to Saunders playbook. Leftwich would be the third string QB behind Campbell and Collins.
The reason behind trading Brunell is that the team knows it won't win squat with either him or Collins if JC is to go down with an injury. |

Hmmm, Mark Brunell was avalible and the Vikes traded for Kelly Holcomb? I thought the Brunell could be a great back-up for Jackson.
Well, assuming this is a 6th or 7th round pick, a solid move by both teams. Wallace doesn't excel as a passer, really.
Just a scary thought, too: The Redskins traded for a draft pick! _________________ Trent Edwards: 39/55, 454 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
