I guess I don't know enough about the Player's Union and its rules on NFL team camps, but this seems a bit ridiculous to me. Believe me, I am no big Raiders fan, but I think this just doesn't make any sense.

This is around a month old. I heard about it on NFL Network. I'm guessing that becoming a better team means that much to Kiffin that he is overworking his players. _________________

While some of the News articles may be older. This is the time of year when it is rather slow for NFL News. Please when posting an article take a moment to add a comment. This story is from back in June. However since it was posted comments are welcome.
I have mixed feelings regarding the NFLPA compliants. I understand the reasoning behind them being to limit injuries during training camp but it seems like that is what training camp is for. It is always tragic when a player gets injured during training camp or preseason and there is a contract in place. I just hope that they are holding all teams to the same scrutiny. _________________

It was the last week of OTA's, not training camp. The players will still have training camp to digest the playbook and get ready for the season. _________________ "The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.” |
