Wow, I have heard a hell of a lot of choices that Dallas has on draft day in the first round.
-With the 11th pick:
WR Mike Williams
WR Braylon Edwards
QB Aaron Rogers
LB Derreck Johnson
LB Ahmed Brooks
DE David Pollack
DE Matthias Kiwanuka
DT Annataj Hawthorne
-With the 18th pick:
QB Alex Smith
LB Cranning Chowder
DE Marquise Spears
DT Rod Wright
CB Corey Webster
I know people have different opinions, but I'd like to narrow this list down a bit. What do you guys think. (Lets hope Dallas doesn't trade for Philip Rivers) |

Kiwanuka is not coming out he is staying with BC. I do not want to see the trade happen with rivers at all. we need our picks for the defencive side of the ball. Here is what i would like to see happen. FA pick up Bell from Pitt., Baxter or Lucas from Seattle, and Possibly Abraham from Jets or Porter from Oakland. The draft, take a DT or DE if we don't get abraham with first pick, WR with second pick, 3rd pick we need a Safety, I don't know of any Safety's out in FA that are worth a damn. Now if we obtain another 2nd or 3rd rounder some where take a QB with that pick. Right now there is just to many holes to fill this year, Parcells has stated he has 9 positions he has to address this offseason. But I definately see the Boys dropping down in the first to pick up extras. _________________

Hopefully Derreck Johnson will be available for the Cowboys at the 11th pick. The guy lookes like a monster and could easily be the best player on the defense with time. Besides, Parcelles LOVES Linebackers. _________________

Personally I hope they get...
11th pick:
Mike Williams or Derrick Johnson (respectivelywhichever is available)
20th pick:
David Pollack or Carlos Rogers (Respectively)
What does everyone else think about these picks
On another note, about all these Philip Rivers rumors, why in the crap, if we are trying to develop drew henson and/or tony romo would we bring in another inexperienced/unproven QB? Shut up about Rivers!!! |

Ahmad Brooks, Rod Wright, and Kiwanuka are all staying in school.
Dallas will look for Mike Williams at #11 and Shawn Merriman at #20. |

Oakland needs a RB, LB, CB and DT more than a WR. Porter will be resigned, leaving them to look at RB or defense. Oakland set a team record this year for fewest rushing yards per game. How will a WR improve that stat or their running game? It won't.
Chicago won't risk using the 4th overall pick on Williams because he didn't play last season. Teams don't use high first round picks on risks. They just don't. Remeber when Bo Jackson was drafted? He sat out, and he wasn't drafted until VERY late because of it. Teams want immediate impact players who are still fresh. Braylon Edwards will be the first WR drafted this year.
And, Tampa Bay wants a RB or LB. They don't need another 1st round WR. They drafted Michael Clayton last year, remember? |

| some will argue that the hitch in your plan is that early in the draft teams will draft the best player available over their need, especially if they feel they can fill their need in FA. While I agree that all of those teams might pass up on Mike Williams, he is still arguably the best WR in this draft and it is alot to hope for that he will be available. |
