I think we should def. go after a safety in the draft and LaRon Landry would be the guy.
Trade scenario
Denver Get #6 Pick Takes LaRon Landry
Washington Get #21,56,86
Another one i was thinking about with rumors with Carolina we make a deal which we get there pick and Jenkins
Example:
Denver gets #14 Takes R. Nelson and Kris Jenkins
Then with #70 they Pick up LB Quincy Black
Carolina Gets #21,56,86,176
These are my hopes......I would be very happy with this Draft |

Hate to burst your bubble but it just dosn't add up.
Scenario #1 we give up only 1,260 points where as #6=1,600
Scenario #2 makes Jenkins worth 175 = mid 3rd round, I think they want more
plus Im not a big fan of drafting a S in the first _________________

We could possibly get Nelson at 21 if the Jags pass on him. _________________

this doesnt sound like a denver washington trade at all
to make it more authentic it should be like this
washington gets 21, 56, and 86
denver gets 6, clinton portis and sean taylor, and santana moss
thats the type of trade shanny does with the skins _________________

I would support a trade up in the first round for the following players:
DE Gaines Adams (top 5)
DE Jamaal Anderson (top 15)
S LaRon Landry (top 8)
RB Adrian Peterson (top 10)
WR Calvin Johnson (top 2)
DT Amobi Okoye (top 5)
DT Alan Branch (top 15)
OT Joe Staley (top 20)
I would not want to see us trade up for any of the following in the first round:
S Reggie Nelson (top 20)
LB Patrick Willis (top 12)
DE Adam Carriker (top 12)
Depending on how far we move up we should have at least one day 1 pick left (unless we trade up for CJ or Landry). IMO our 3 top 1st round needs are DE, DT and OT - yes, S has dropped off my list of top 3 needs. The only S I would really want to get in the first round would be LaRon Landry. But, for the sake of argument, lets say we land DE Jamaal Anderson in the first round (who I think is the most likely pick, we can land him by trading #21 and #70 to either Carolina or Pittsburgh) then I think with our remaining 2 picks we should do the following:
-Trade #56 to Carolina for Kris Jenkins (it would be nice if we could get #118 in return, but I don't know how likely that is). Use #86 on a LB like Quincy Black or Zak DeOssie, or on a S like John Wendling or Josh Gattis. We could use #86 on Notre Dame OT Ryan Harris, but I would prefer just to get OT Allen Barbre in the 5th round, or with #118 if we can pry that pick away from Carolina as part of a deal involving Kris Jenkins. _________________ big_palooka:

Just think of how expendable Gold might become if we draft Willis. I think Bates is revamping the D, and it might be beneficial to just grab Willis and dump Gold. |

No, no, and no. I'd rather draft a LB in the 3rd to fill up Al's whole. _________________

Didn't we already do this by moving DJ to mike. |

You are right, I just meant the whole at LB, not specifically mike. _________________
