| Rob Morris resigned today and installed as second string MLB behind Brackett. I believe it was for league minimum |

True the Colts still need some help on defense. But otherwise a solid move to help out in their depth. |

haha yeah of course. The only players on their D that i'd consider taking are Freeny and Doss.
but this move is solid. it's always nice to have some depth. _________________

all joking aside, this move was inevitable. They just didnt want to be the ones to break it to him that his worth was league minimum. They let rest of the leaque break it to him . . . and he WILL end up starting, not the backup IMO.
As for their D . . . I think Sanders is better than Doss, never mind that Doss is suspended for at least two games. I hope their deaftee Giordano gets some time while Doss is out. I think their defensive backfield, off field antics aside, is solid and deep. I think they have no starting caliber linebackers with the possible exception of Thornton. I will be surprised if any of the athletic kids step up substantially. The DL is forever a work in progress. No doubt they need one more stud there. I am hoping they go hard after Corey Simon if the Eagles cant sign him. He would be a great fit in Indy. As long as the offense keep the pressure on opposing offenses to score, we should be able to cause turnovers. |
