He said on NFL Total Access that there is no doubt in his mind that he will be ready to go and that he feels great. I was very relieved by this . They were also saying that the jags have been talking to Ty Law as well. That was even more great news. What does everyone think?

Heres some more of what was said...
| Quote: | Fred Taylor told the NFL Network he'd be ready to play in week one, but hinted he may have had surgery on his ACL.
Taylor, who hasn't spoken to the media all offseason, had a few interesting remarks. He is still only running straight ahead at 50-75% speed, and not doing cuts. He says any running back who comes to Jacksonville will be his backup. Taylor plans on being ready for week one, but sounded less optimistic about training camp or the preseason. Most interestingly, he compared his rehab to Edgerrin James and Willis McGahee, saying he's working with the same trainer that oversaw their recoveries from ACL surgery. |

| Quote: | Jaguars | Taylor Says He Will be Ready to Go

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Fred Taylor (knee), during an interview on the NFL Network, said his knee injury was a little more severe than originally thought but he is now feeling "terrific" and doing "outstanding." He said he believes he will be ready for the start of training camp, but noted he does not have to be ready until the start of the season because his experience allows him to miss the preseason. At this point, he is running straight ahead at half-speed and doing some lateral work. "I'm going to be fine, no need to worry about Fred," Taylor said. |

That is exactly what they were talking about. He sounded upbeat about his injury also, because he used E James knee injury and how he came back from it, but his was an ACL tear. I dont remember ever Taylor's being reported that it was an ACL problem, but he still sounded good to me.

| Well, if we get Henry or somebody, I'm not sure how they will run in our offense, but I no Toe will not be a consistent runner in our system, as Fred is |
