We all know Mixon will eventually be the starter, but who will Marvin go with week 1?

Hill. But it won't take too long for that to change.

Yeah, I assume Hill, gets at least the starting nod if not starter touches

I think they need to do a competition type of playing time. Every back gets equal touches the first game. Whoever ends up with the most production starts the next game.

That being said... Hill

It'll be Hill because starting rookies causes Marvin Lewis physical pain.

I think Hill, but Mixon will get more carries and finish the game. Probably for the first few weeks. Then Hill gets relegated to goal line work, then cut or on IR when Bernard comes back.

The only way this doesn't happen is if my some miracle he actually recovers that 2015 magic. But that seems unlikely at this point.

Hill will be the starter for the early part of the season. Mixon should win the job but probably not until after the bye and that's assuming his pass protection is decent.

I really don't think we cut him. We've held on to less talented RBs when carrying four before. I do think Peerman would go before him. I never thought we'd cut Herana-Daze Jones

The video of Gio running in pads made me pretty happy. I think we could get a really effective balance with Hill on goal line work with Gio and Mixon splitting time. We could get Mixon and Gio 10-15 carries every game which I think is the timeline I prefer.

I reckon Hill gets the 1st snap of week 1 but Mixon out touches him.

I think Jeremy Hill will start but Gio will play and Joe will Mix in.
