Morton hasn't been that bad this year. His main flaw is his control, but we don't take many pitches so that didn't matter. His K/9 has been really good this year, too.

Oh I know he's been good, was more referencing him doing nothing leaving, and coming back to dominate us Laughing

Rockies acquired RHP Pat Neshek from the Phillies for INF Jose Gomez, RHP J.D. Hammer and RHP Alejandro Requena.

The Nationals, Dodgers and Red Sox had all previously been linked to Neshek, but Colorado ultimately comes away with the prize. The veteran reliever has put in a sparkling season to date, pitching to a 1.12 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 45/5 K/BB ratio across 40 1/3 innings. This fine body of work earned him a berth at the All-Star Game.

So of the 4 trades we made, we get anything of value/potential?

And the team has been playing well as of late. Tired of the crap Herrera is getting in the media. Yea he needs to hustle sometimes, but dude is our best player.

MLB.com's Todd Zolecki confirms that the Phillies will call up prospect Rhys Hoskins on Thursday.

Hoskins has been a force this year in the International League, slashing .284/.385/.581 with 29 home runs and 91 RBI in 115 games for Triple-A Lehigh Valley. He's made three starts in left field over the last week and figures to split time between there and first base with Philadelphia. The powerful 24-year-old is worth scooping up in most standard mixed fantasy leagues
