Quote:
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Rams DE Dominique Easley suffered "what is believed to be a serious knee injury" at Tuesday's practice.

He's headed for an MRI, but a team source told Rapoport that it is "not looking good." It'll be a big blow for the Rams defense if Easley indeed is set to miss a significant amount of time. Cast off in New England, Easley has resurrected his career for the Rams and was an underrated player up front for them last season. The Rams are scary-thin on the second team at every level of the defense.

More details to come i'm sure, but terrible news.

Easley had 2 ACL surgeries in college. Went on IR his first year with a knee injury. How much more can his knees take?

Wonder if this will expedite contract negotiations with Donald.

His knees were the reason New England got rid of him, right?

Rams DL Dominique Easley has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the 2017 season.

It's a huge blow to the Rams' defensive front. Aaron Donald rightfully gets all of the fame, but Easley had a strong 2016 season as an interior pass rusher and was heading into a contract year. The former first-rounder tore both his ACLs in college and will now have to rehab a third tear, putting his effectiveness down the line in doubt. Los Angeles has little depth up front and will likely now turn to Ethan Westbrooks as a starter.

Poor guy. Brutal.

It was that and I think he didn't follow Patriot Medical Staff advice; he kept doing his own rehabbing with other medical people that he hired.

Looks like it's a torn ACL/out for the season.
