More injury news for #Ravens: TE Crockett Gillmore is having surgery tomorrow to fix his meniscus, source said. Will know the extent post-op

Signed Larry Donnel, ex-Giant.

Just Laughing at this point

If Crockett were to miss the season (if it turns out to be similar in severity to Dixon's) then 56% of the Ravens targets from last year will be gone. Flacco likes to throw to TE's so Maxx Williams could step into a much bigger role if he can stay healthy.

Update:

Ravens TE Crockett Gilmore is out for the season after undergoing MCL surgery.

Two Ravens injuries per thread to avoid flooding the forum:

Maurice Canady has a "potentially serious" knee injury. Canady was having a great camp and was the favorite to replace Tavon Young in the slot. Him being out would be more significant than Crockett, IMO, since the FO worked hard to build depth in the secondary. Marlon Humphrey would be the obvious next man up, but they said they prefer to keep him outside so it may be Lardarius Webb sliding back there from safety or Boykin who we signed after Young went down.

We're reaching the point where the Ravens and Chargers have to be slated to battle for taking over the Packers crown of most likely to see a contributor go down with injury

Donnell is hilariously bad he hurts the team with his incompetence on the field and Giants fans routinely referred to him as Larry "Clownell".

This.

But the Ravens' situation isn't looking much better at this point TBH.

Both Crockett Gillmore and Canady have meniscus tears, so they MAY not be season ending. But that's what they said about Dixon before they operated and saw it.

To bad to see this for the Ravens. Be interesting to see how Donnell will do for them.

He showed a ton of potential early on in his career. He had a 3 TD game against the Redskins and showed great physical tools. But he just lacks a natural feel for the game. Any time the ball comes in his direction you hold your breath because he's either going to fumble, get lit up, or somehow end up landing on his head. Sometimes a combination of all 3. Just a very awkward player to watch. Terrible blocker too.

...and Crockett Gillmore is out for the season now. They found out his MCL was torn when under surgery. Per Schefter and others. Probably the end of his time with the Ravens. Crockett flashed as a very good blocking and receiving TE, but he was almost never healthy.

More pressure on Maxx Williams to step up and stay healthy, and Nick Boyle to not get the year long suspension that will come with his next strike.

Our daily contributor lost for the season today is 4th round pick Nico Siragusa who was carted off with a knee injury. Just great for our interior line depth after we moved on from Zuttah (which i still don't regret) and had Urschel just retire.

Nico Siragusa was carted off the field.

So, after the draft, I looked at the NFL and I really only saw a couple of teams that didn't look like they were at least in the mix. The Jets, the Jaguars, the 49ers, the Bears and maybe a few others. Everyone else looked like they were going to compete at least for a wildcard spot as long as they could stay healthy.

As long as they could stay healthy.
As long as they could stay healthy.

Baltimore.... this isn't your year.
