One of the more easily-called busts of the draft, I think. Was anyone high on the selection?

They also released Allen Babre

UPDATE: It seems Marucs Smith was signed by the Seahawks after clearing waivers. They now have two first round DE busts, Smith and Jordan.

Will be interesting to see if either make the team and if they're able to turn it around

Just as reminder for the "They're professionals and you're just some bum watching at home so they know something you don't and they're right and you're wrong" crowd: We all saw this coming. All of us. Even you, although you don't want to admit it.

Good riddance. All he did was steal snaps that should have gone to Steven Means. I actually thought he was worth a mid/late 2nd round pick coming into the draft, but unfortunately he ended up being another Dion Jordan. Has absolutely no business in a 4-3 D. Maybe he can be a back-up 3/4 OLB with different coaching, but most likely he just sucks. I have no idea how he put up 23 reps with 34" arms at the combine, because he plays with the functional strength of a complete pansy.

Without a doubt Chip Kelly's greatest achievement in Philly. Now they're both out of the NFL more than likely.

First I've really heard of him, oh well who knows? He might hook on as a depth guy for a team.

I liked him as a second round project and even that I was wrong on, but I knew the first was too early.

And we actually traded Barbre to Denver for a conditional 2019 7th
