I still don't understand what's so awesome about Dorsey. Mediocre team. Bad management of star contracts. Average drafter.

Friends in KC tell me that Dorsey was actually very good at scouting, but couldn't keep the office together heading one direction. Mishandled some of the veterans contracts and releases. Got on the owner's sh** list. Because of his inability to handle the contract situations he may NOT be as attractive a candidate for another GM spot. Wouldn't mind him back in GB as director of college scouting or something like that.

So it seems being a GM is more than just scouting and drafting. I find it rather curious Dorsey is still unemployed.

Nice bump. That was a good discussion. I feel like you regularly contribute threads like that, so I had to take the reigns for once Laughing Cool

How can he dig a hole if he's too busy sitting on his hands?

He was let go with a year on his deal, no? He'll have all year to find his next gig before he runs out of paychecks. Very good chance there's an offset in his terms too. If so he'd be working for free.

I read a bit and appreciate the work you did, but I would say that Sitton and Lang have to be blue players in the same rank as Jordy was at WR, if not even higher. Perry and Bahk would be there too but I think that was before either one of them broke out.
