Need a new OC. Sark to the Falcons. Good move for him.

Locksley? Not exactly the most exciting name but I suppose he's the current favorite to get the job.

Kind of a Richard move if you ask me but it is what is. Locksley is who I expect as well. I really think Saban would've promoted Napier had he known Sark would bail. Maybe we steal him back from Arizona St? We owe them for Barnett. Wink

Or we could hire Chip for a rental.

I hope Saban knows what he's doing bcuz I've never been more unimpressed with a hire by him in my life. Daboll has been a cataclysmic failure at OC everywhere he's been. This a terrible hire for Hurts' sake. Tua will prolly wind up winning the job since he's far more accurate.

Really looking fwd to today's A-Day game. I love watching the next generation of young guns getting burn.

-RBs- With Bo and Damien Harris out, we're going to see Najee Harris and Brian Robinson get a ton of carries. Josh Jacobs is banged up but playing too.

-Jalen Hurts has the starting QB spot on lock and says the game has slowed down for him. Spring reports said that he has improved his passing. Also can't wait to see Tua and Mac play.

-Our WR corps is crazy deep and it's great to hear that Robert Foster is ballin out this spring. Will he finally live up to the hype? Can't wait to see Jerry Jeudy and TJ Simmons.

-The left side of the OL is set but who's playing on the right this season? Will we see true FR Alex Leatherwood seize that RT spot?

-Buggs has been the talk of the DL the spring. Who's going to start next to Payne and Hand?

-Dylan Moses is already making a name for himself at ILB. I'd love to see him start next to Evans from game 1. That's going to be insane speed and athleticism. Gives Pruitt some serious weapons on inside blitzes. Also have Mack and Holcombe. Who's going to start outside at SAM and JACK? Christian Miller? Terrell Hall? Anfernee Jennings? Ben Davis?

-Trevon Diggs switched to CB this spring as an "experiment" and has locked up the starting position opposite Averett. Remarkable. Diggs gives us the ability to move Minkah Fitzpatrick back to safety giving us the best safety tandem in the country with Ronnie Harrison. What other CBs will step up? Will Hootie Jones finally step up?

It's gonna be fun!

RTR!!!

I swear these early enrollees by themselves would make up a competitive SEC offense. Shocked

Future is very very bright.

We have two good QBs. Tua was better than expected and I had fairly high expectations. Jalen's game is based around his ability to run and that was definitely held back a bit in the spring game.

Najee Harris. Oh my. This kid can play. Not crazy to think he could be the best RB we've had. That's saying something. Scarbrough needs to get healthy. He needs to find a way to stay on the field. Not sure how he fixes that problem.

We knew we'd have a great WR in Ridley and a solid started in Sims. But we didn't know what to expect from Robert Foster and how quickly Jerry Jeudy would be ready. Well, it seems like this might finally be the year for Foster (feels like that's been said every single year). And Jeudy is definitely ready. Made some really nice plays today.

OL looked ok. About as good as I'd expect the OL to look in a spring game.

Defensive backs need work. A lot of work.

Future LBs were on the field together today. Wilson and Moses at ILB will be a starting pair very soon. Keith Holcombe flashed also.

DL will be a strength again.

Biggest takeaway: Play calling on offense is going to be much less frustrating. No more crazy screens. Make use of your playmakers. Throughout the build up to this year's NFL Draft, something we've heard about Alabama offensive prospects is that we haven't seen everything they can do because Lane Kiffin really didn't make use of all the talent he had. The most obvious example being OJ Howard.

Robert Foster looked awesome. Hurts had some beautiful deep balls.

Sophomores RB BJ Emmons and CB Aaron Robinson have decided to transfer.

Not a surprise with Emmons considering the crowded backfield but I was hoping he'd give it another year. The kid is a stud and injuries last year kept him buried in the depth chart.

Kinda surprised about Robinson considering the lack of depth at CB but whatever.
