It's not a stretch at all to say that the supply for corner OF's is greater than the demand at the moment, but I can't say I'm willing to give Avila the benefit of the doubt at the moment. Feels like a situation where he didn't get the offers he wanted and just decided to take whatever deal was still on the table. Had this deal been made on deadline day I could get behind the supply and demand argument. But right now it feels like teams made low ball offers knowing that Avila wanted to move him and Avila panicked and took whatever he could get. Would rather have just waited and made a QO during the offseason than accepted this junk.
