I wonder if he's there willingly? As in, submitted himself for possible treatment.

Sansa vs. Jon.. let it begin.. very curious what path this will take.

I kind of question Arya's decision to go try and kill the queen.. no desire to go see her family at all? And she thinks it's a good idea to shack up with some soldiers as a solo girl? She must be playing an angle. Impersonate a Lannister soldier to get close to Cersei?

I don't see how you can come to that conclusion after watching the show. She has been very benevolent, almost overly-so, to the point where it's detrimental.

I just can't stand Daenerys. This episode made me like Cersei more than I like Danerys. I feel like Jon Snow made the right decision. Robb was adamant about honor and all that crap, killed that one guy, and that led to his death. Jon knows the power in what he did, and that Umber kid and Karstarck kid are gonna be loyal to him. Sansa a bit too ruthless for her own good right now.

That Bear Island girl is the greatest thing since Arya.

Im glad im not the only one. Way too cocky and self centered for my liking.

yeah she has the whole "i deserve to be the queen" thing going on, which isn't appealing. she doesn't really care about how she's going to serve the people/realm, just cares about getting the throne

that doesnt necessarily make her "bad" since that's basically been the entire show in a nutshell, but it also fails to distinguish her as some special leader. snow is much better in that regard

Well, part of that is because she doesn't really know that many people from the realm except the ones who have come into her service because they were exiled (Jorah, Barristan, Tyrion) with the exception of Varys who no one (aside from maybe Tyrion really trusts).

Even if she did so from a position of precociousness, once she actually had subjects in Mereen she was actually very much acting in what she saw was their best interest. Up until Barristan (and I suppose a little before that from Jorah), you've got to remember that her only accounts of Westeros were given to her by Viserys - who was very Joffrey-esque.[/b]

No comments on the Ed Sheeran cameo? Seemed out of place and almost like a product placement to me.

Meh they do cameos with musicians and Maisie Williams is a fan of Ed Sheran so it was probably more for her than anything.

Euron was pretty damn funny though.

yeah, yeah, breaker of chains. and if it wasnt for tyrion she was going to burn all of mereen. her first order after getting the unsullied was to slaughter the masters. and then she crucified a bunch in mereen.

she always talks about how she doesnt want to kill innocents but she's about to invade an entire continent with 3 giant dragons, and has delusions of it being some clean, crisp campaign with no collateral damage. she intends to destroy all the great houses of westeros. is that going to be peaceful?

she just wants the throne because of muh birthright, not because she wants what's best for westeros (unlike jon)

she's not evil like joffrey or cersei, but i dont see her as some benevolent mother coming to take care of her children. im still cheering for her because i wanna see the dragons dominate in combat... i wanna see the unsullied on an actual battlefield instead of little skirmishes like they had in mereen... wanna see a full force of dothraki try to take on a westerosi army

Yeah, Dany is getting kinda annoying. Too arrogant, too spoon fed. I'm guessing she will fail miserably at the end.

Super hot though.

while i know i'm supposed to suspend disbelief with this show, i wasnt really convinced with the freakin hound "seeing" all that so clearly in the fire

he doesnt seem like the type to really have an out of body religious experience

I think - and this is me speculating here - it's more of a nod to how powerful Thoros of Myr is. Pretty much since the beginning, we've watched the Red Witch and were in awe of her power. But even she took pause at what Thoros has been doing for Beric. I think he is considerably stronger than her.

Walking The Hound to the point of sight in the fire is just a sign that he's beyond powerful with this magic/religion.

That was sooooo savage. I'm excited (and nervous) about his character.

Awesome episode.
