Seriously though...I don't understand why Blazek isn't in this bullpen. He can pitch in long relief while also pitching in the 7th...

He was bad last year for us but that was control related. He's gotten that under control and has been much better this year while pitching in the PCL and even showed a bit in the 6 innings with the big league club this year.

Even if Stearns doesn't want to trade for BP help, just promote Blazek and DFA Scahill. There's nothing redeeming about Rob Scahill.
Or promote Jorge Lopez and Taylor Williams. It's riskier since Lopez went crazy in CS and Williams is coming back from injury, but they're still top prospects who are playing well.

Personally if we make a move I would rather get a bullpen arm than a starter.

The bullpen upgrade would definitely be cheaper in terms of prospects. Cost-controlled starters are stupid expensive.

Yup. Wonder how much a Neshek would cost. Probably too much but he would work well in our pen.

Almost like Suter is a gimmick or something.

Knowing Brent Suter's arm strength, I'm pretty sure that's the first time he's ever hurt his catcher.

2-2. Schahill's in.

By the time you read this, probably like 6-2 or 7-2.

ESPN's game tracker had it 4-0 for some damn reason. Laughing

That makes sense both Suter and Scahill suck.
