You know when you start seeing Vander Blue making extra passes... the Lonzo effect is real.

why are all the Ball lovers NOT pointing out that Ball looks like a revolving door on defense. DSJ left him on the 3 point line on his dunk. WTF even Harden is mad at him.

I don't think anyone has said he was good, or even decent on defense. But I'd also make the argument that he's playing defense trying to funnel the ball handler at another defender. Problem is that secondary defender isn't always in the right place. The DSJ dunk was one of those situations.

No need to respond to the Lonzo haters.

I am a hater for simply pointing out that ESPN/media keep harping and over harping on Ball's so called "great qualities" and no one even mentions his "poor defense". Which I may remind will be even more exposed when Lonzo has to play against the deepest position of talent on a nightly basis.

Everyone already knows that Lonzo Ball is a poor on-ball defender, though. Like.... everyone knows that. His off-ball defense has been pretty good so far tho.

ESPN announcers have harped on Lonzo's defense and missing shots a lot.

I don't know what you're talking about.

Damn so, the Lakers drafted Lonzo Ball #2 overall and then traded D'Angelo Russell and got that horrible Mozgov contract off our books while getting Brook Lopez and Kyle Kuzma in return from the Nets.

Bow down to Magic and Rob!

That's known. KCP will likely be the guy defending the better scoring guard this year. But that dude isn't bringing it up because he's unaware. He's hating because people are talking up Lonzo.

I'm aware.

No, you're a hater because you're quick to harp on another player whose getting publicity, but when it comes to your own player you only want to talk about strengths.

He's not a hater. Just imagine how pissed you'd be right now knowing that a dude that got drafted #27 overall is better than the guy your favorite team took at #3 overall. Like bro, if my team passed on Markelle Fultz + the ability to just trade peanuts to get back into the late first round for LeKyle Kuzma James, I'd be ticked off too.

Why would I be mad at that? Lonzo and Kuzma on the same team.

That's why you get super defensive when someone is critical of your team's draft pick, and quick to jump on another team's player for their weakness. You can say you "call it as [you] seez it", but we all know what it is.

Lonzo is the best player to enter the league since _________

Fill in the blank. LeBron? That's the last time someone entered the league with his level of pure smugness. Before that... Kobe, Shaq, MJ, Charles Barkley, Magic... Wilt... its a short list.
