I can't say I've seen many Kane to United rumours.

The Dier to United rumours have also died out lately with the Matic and Niaggolan rumours.

Yeah, mostly tabloid trash. I'm fairly sure there's truth in the Dier one, though.

I wouldn't mind Dier. I thought he was England's best player at Euro 2016 and has proven him self very adept wherever he plays.

He also has far more upside than Matic or Niaggolan for virtually the same price.

All this talk puts the 30m Chelsea spent on Kante into perspective. Absolute bargain.

Will be kind of sad to see Walker playing for another team. He was a Spurs player for a long time, decent servant for the club. He played at a very high level for the last 2 or so seasons, too. However, the fee that City paid fot him is ridiculous. I would expect us to buy a replacement RB for 20 odd million, then pocket the rest. I believe we're the only team in the top flight who are yet to sign a player this transfer window. I still don't expect much movement from us or any excitement really.

Why would you spend 20m on a replacement? Trippier just signed a new contract and you have Kyle Walker-Peters coming through

You're right. It just depends if Poch thinks Trippier is good enough and if KWP is ready. Poch puts a lot of demand on his full backs, so if he doesn't think Walker Peters is ready, then he will want someone to at least rotate with Trippier.

Two more sales confirmed with Fazio to Roma and N'jie to Marseille. Neither are much of a surprise as they didn't have a place in the squad going forwards and were both out on loan at those clubs last season. Never the less, both are off the books and undoubtedly, Levy will have brought back a reasonable lump of money. Perhaps we will actually buy someone soon.][/list]
