Pretty crappy move by Dak but I really don't care. I'd probably try doing the same thing if I was famous to be honest. Sitting down and signing your autograph thousands of times just doesn't seem like something I'd want to waste my time on.

" is this potentially a case where his agents are keeping their client in the dark and trying to flip an extra buck? "

Honestly I thought all autographs not done in person were done by machine.
Doubt this affects him on the field at all. His low salary will allow the Cowboys a few years for a SB run before paying him and if he gets a trophy before that payday...Well millions more will be made.

Not a great off season for the Cowboys, I feel like.

Also, I love that what that this is fraud, a fairly legit crime, and we are all like, "meh" Laughing (for the record, I'm meh on it myself, don't much care...just find it funny)

It's simply an accusation at this point.

It's one authenticator that refused to verify some Dak Panini cards because he believed them to be auto-penned. Neither Panini, nor Dak/Dak's agent have responded yet. No charges have been levied.

Now, if there was an E-mail from Dak asking his equipment manager for some gear that could be passed off as "Game worn", then we might have something to raise our pitchforks for.

Offseason.

This has been what feels like a hundred years ago but my family used to have a card shop and I remember this guy we met on the road once telling us how players would just have "one of their boys" sign all the autos then pay them.

I think nowadays, they have people who watch a lot of it happening. But I guess not always lol.

Pretty schitty thing to do.

Just when I was beginning to think he was a high character guy, and one of the few in that locker room.

sucks is, more reports are coming out that other players have done this or had like equipment guys sign stuff for them.

Listening to sports talk on my way home and I caught the end of the segment but they ended with that they were told by an ex-equipment person that they would see people sign items for Braylon Edwards because he didnt want to do it.

Oh yeah. I want an alert on my phone every time a Patriots player/staff is accused/slandered of anything. Laughing

And a good alert too, like those Amber Alerts I've seen android users deal with, that will sometimes randomly go off no matter what your settings are. Laughing

I hate those stupid things. I have two phones, one for work, and one goes off obnoxiously 60 seconds after the other one does.
