Thought it deserved it's own thread for anyone what wanted to talk about some Titans news of the past few days, that revisited Titan's history.
The whole Vince Young (Longhorn) interview with Sports Illustrated..

Quote: | Chow liked Young but also found him immature. One day he’d sit up front in meetings, hand raised, asking questions. The next day he’d sit in the back, a baseball cap pulled low over his eyes. Once, Chow and Collins teased Young about his surly demeanor. In response Young reminded them he was “the only guy in this room” with the owner’s phone number. “Obviously, he had been spoiled,” Chow says. “He wasn’t willing to put in that extra study that sets quarterbacks apart. He didn’t lean on Kerry. He wasn’t a bad guy—heck, he was 23 years old. He was . . . pampered, coddled, whatever word you want to use |
Then Blake Beddingfield former Director of College Scouting on local Radio today dropped some nice nuggets.

Quote: | Beddingfield: RB Chris Henry "was just not a vert good football player." #Titans "totally missed." |
Quote: | Beddingfield: Near miss that haunts is @OLineWorld65, room was deflated when he went a pick before #Titans. |
Quote: | Beddingfield confirms Fisher/Chow talked Reese out of Devin Hester, stood on the table for LenDale White. #Titans |
Quote: | Beddingfield: Mariota was No. 1 for entire room, Winston was 2. If Mariota went to TB, #Titans would have taken Winston. |
Quote: | Beddingfield: When I left office Friday night, Pacman Jones was not a thought. (Was A.Rolle or D.Johnson.) Saturday he was the pick. #Titans |
Quote: | Beddingfield: Ruston Webster was true evaluator, loved watching film. True scout. Ownership situation, multiple coaches hurt him. #Titans |
Quote: | Beddingfield: Byard understood things very early on, will be roaming more as a free safety this year. If picks numbers go up, Pro Bowler. |

Up until this tweet I though Beddingfield seemed pretty with it. Probably just sticking up for a friend, but Webster put us in a tremendously huge hole that somehow J-Rob has done almost a complete 180 in just over a year. Mariota was a great pick but really anyone in that position would've taken whichever of Winston/Mariota was there. Reinfeldt's to blame as well as Whiz, but Webster goes down as one of the worst. |

Between....
-Jeff Fisher and company wanting to draft another QB
-VY immaturity and being pampered
-Bud Adams forcing the VY pick
-Norm Chow leaving
...that relationship was bound to fail. It's become clear the more you hear about it.
While we had some fun times during that stretch, I'm glad we're done with that era and everyone involved (Fisher, VY, Bud, ect.) in it. _________________

That Beddingfield interview was awesome to listen to. He was very open about a lot of our team's history. _________________
