Haven't read anything about this on here and thought it was really interesting. Possibly the most accurate information on what truly happened on draft night that we'll ever get.

Pace was in talks with both the 49ers to move up to 2, and the Browns to move down from 3-12 (Cleveland desperately wanted Trubisky) all the while blocking any potential trade that Cleveland would make to #2 snatching Trubisky before the Bears at #3.

Yeah we had discussed this in the Trubisky thread. I'm not surprised, though it seems more like Schefter was speculating there.

I think this is a situation where 10-15 years down the road, we will hear the truth from somebody who currently is a part of the Bears/Browns organization.
